I discovered Pilates and the Body in Mind Studio about 3 years ago and have never looked back. Not only did I find enjoyable exercise but also a solution to 25 years of lower back problems, a lifetime of round shoulders and the ravages of 3 pregnancies.
My posture, strength, balance, muscle tone, body awareness and body shape have all improved. I’m over 50 now and I know that my body is stronger and more supple than it was when I was 20.
The teachers challenge your body without it becoming a chore; exercises are varied to avoid boredom and adjusted each day to suit your needs. The atmosphere is always friendly and supportive and I look forward to my sessions each week.

I attended the pregnancy programme from 16 weeks, and I'm still going strong at 36 weeks. Although it's a more expensive option than standard matwork classes, the individual attention has kept me fit, well and confident in my ability to cope with the physical challenges ahead.
Louise has provided me with support and information about my pregnant body; far more than provided by my midwife. It has been an invaluable
investment for a first-time mum, and I highly recommend it.
